Christian Meditation, deeply rooted in Christian tradition, aims “to allow God’s mysterious presence within us to become more and more not only a reality, but the reality which gives meaning, shape and purpose to everything we do, to everything we are…” John Main, OSB.

Sister Mary Christine is a native of Michigan who joined the Sisters of St. Joseph, a Florida-based Congregation, upon graduating from high school. She taught in various Catholic schools and parishes in central, south and north Florida. After graduate studies at Duquesne University, she was assigned to SSJ congregational formation work as Directress of Initial Formation in St. Augustine. She served eight years as the congregation’s General Superior followed by a variety of ministries in Miami: teaching, health care trusteeship, directing the Office of Religious in the Archdiocese, advocacy for the poor, evangelization, and working with Hispanic and Haitian immigrants. Currently, she serves in ministry as the Administrator of Villa Flora-Brown Hall.
